WACHAU WALKING TOUR ALONG THE DANUBE

A 7 days or 8 days self-guided and group walking tour

This walking tour takes place along the Austrian stretch of the Danube river… Imagine combining the clean and tidy Austrian countryside with a series of castles and abbeys and the constant presence of the Danube river, protagonist of the history of Europe. You will walk along the places where, at one time, Richard the lion-heart of England was held captive! Here in Wachau, the Danube river is more beautiful than in other places. Climate is mild and the sweet hills create the ideal conditions for the cultivation of vineyards and orchards. Some of the best wines of Austria are produced in Wachau. Moreover, don't miss the delicious apricots cultivated in this area. The walking path is quite varied and includes rocky paths and rolling hills with fragrant vineyards, giving a feeling of pure well-being. The nearby countryside is dotted with small villages where everything is focused on food and wine. The Wachau valley will make you experience unforgettable emotions.
